About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

2 Singaporean are travelling to Lhasa but stop over at Chengdu for 1 night stay plus sightseeing.

Illustration scenario:
Example: Travel via Singapore Passport. My arrival time from SG to Chengdu on 18 June 2016 at 10.30 PM.
We stay at Chengdu Hotel on 19 June 2016. Sightseeing, etc
Take a flight from Chengdu to Lhasa on 20 June 2016.

Returning to Chengdu From Lhasa, stay 1 night at Chengdu. The next day fly from Chengdu to Singapore

Do I need to apply VISA?

Valerie, yes, you need to apply for it for your trip to PRC.

As a Singapore citizen you can enter China visa free for 15 days.
But you have to apply for a Tibet permit.
