About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 Visa Waiver Question

I would be traveling from New Orleans to Shaghai. Staying in Shanghai for two nights attending a trade show, and then flying to Hong Kong for a three day holiday. Leaving Hong Kong to travel back to the New Orleans.
Am I O.K. to do this?

Greg, it is ok for you to do that. You can make use of the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai.

Hey Nick, I have the information above (18th June)... So if we were to fly from Singapore to Shanghai for 2 nights and then fly to Kong Kong, this would be ok? Just a bit confusing... It doesn't sound that much different than what is in Greg's itinerary... Thanks in advance! :) Mel

Yes, this is ok. Hong Kong can be regarded as a third region.
