As I know, most shopping malls in major commercial areas would be closed from Chinese New Year's Eve to Lunar Jan.3rd. However, the local restaurants will closed until Lunar Jan.15. Don't worry. There are still many fast restaurants and chain restaurants that open at that time. You can still have a good holiday there during the Chinese New Year!
