About:China Transit Visa

transit visa for 14 hours stop at Beijing

HI
I am travelling through air china from new eland to Pakistan. the flights stop is at Beijing for 14 hours. do I need a transit G type if I don't want to go out from airport?

Amna, you don’t need to get a transit G type because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit. You can just apply for a free temporary stay permit after arrival, and then you can leave the airport.

Thanks a lot Brian for your kind reply. My ticket booking company said I cant leave the airport, thanks to you I have decided to go out from the airport to see the city :)
