How many people can travel on a multiple visa to China

I'm heading to PRC soon and require visas for 4 persons and was wondering if they can all travel on the one visa?

Andrew, I’m afraid not. A multiple-entry visa can be used to enter PRC for multiple times by one person, but it cannot be used to enter PRC once by many people. I think each of you had better apply for a separate tourist L type to travel to PRC.
