Physical Examination Record for Foreigners - is this needed for a one month study scholarship?

Hello, my son and two fellow students have been successful in applying for a one month scholarship to study in PRC from 10th july - 7th august 2016.

Their offer letter lists that they need to bring an original "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners" but on checking this out (form V2011A) it says this is needed if you are staying for 6 months.

What should we do? Can they travel without one as it will take a lot of time to get this done and they only have three weeks until they go?

Julie, the Physical Examination Record for Foreigners is not necessary because he just goes there for one-month study. If the school requires that, he can do the health examination after he enters PRC.
