how to select terminal, shekoufuyong?

Question

If I flight from Malaysia to Hong Kong & I transit  to Shenzhen by ferry, which terminal (Shekou) or terminal (fuyong) is suitable for me to choice (baggage tag-through service & custom clearance) as I am a visitor

Shekou is more recommended, because it is closer to downtown area, while Fuyong is near the airport, mainly serving air passengers. Still you don't need to go through the customs at HKIA. Directly go for the ferry.
