hiking on great wall

Is there any great wall less crowded? we don't want the most popular place, with thousands of people around us. We prefer to do a nice few hours hike on the wall, maybe pass some villages in the area, etc.

hi, Jinshanling and Simatai are less crowded and very suitable for hiking. But I want to remind you that the wildness, dilapidated walls and unique structures, make hiking on the two sections a bit difficult. You should be in moderately good shape to get through.
