About:Hong Kong MTR - East Rail Line

We plan to stay at Marriott Shatin when visiting HK. What is the R/T blue rail fare to Hung Hom?

Is one way travel time 45 minutes?
Are there other ways to get to TST or Central?
Is there a 3-day rail pass at a more economical price?
Where can I obtain up a train schedule? Or how frequent are the trains?

To Hung Hom, you may take MTR Ma On Shan Line from Shek Mun Station to Tai Wai Station, and change to East Rail Line to Hung Hom Station. The fare totals HKD 7.3 and the trip takes about 30 minutes.

Or, you can take bus line 87D from Ravana Garden Station to Middle Road Tsim Sha Tsui Station. The fare is HKD 7.8, and the trip takes about 55 minutes.

For three-day pass, you can buy Airport Express Travel Pass with one/two single journeys for HKD 250/ 350. Apart from Airport Express ride, you can use the pass to ride free for 3 consecutive days on MTR (except East Rail Line First Class, Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations), Light Rail and MTR Bus (Northwest New Territories). If not using the express train, you can buy Standard Octopus Card. You need to pay HKD 50 as the refundable deposit, and HKD 100 as the minimum stored value.

The trains depart frequently at intervals of about 5 minutes. You can easily catch one. Don't worry! :)
