About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi there! I am a US citizen and my husband is a filipino citzen with a green card.

We are planning to visit Shanghai and Beijing (coming from the Philippines, 2 days in Beijing and 3 days in Shanghai). Do we need a visa to enter both cities? Thx.

I am unsure about the legality of green cards serving as passports in this case. However you will need a visa if you wish to visit Beijing as the 72 hour and 144 hour policy exist in Shanghai and jiangsu and zhejiang. You may not go to any other cities under this visa free travel
