if my applciation get paased, what should I do?

Hello good afternoon i have bf wants to invite me to go china he have apartment there but his nationality is german he mostly worknin PRC and thailand, last 2weeks we were together here in philippines and qe go travel agency to submit our requirements to get my visa for china, if my application will approved is there any problem if i fly to PRC? Or need to interview me before departure? Thanks... I'm Ariane
