kettle is allowed in china train?

Can we use small kettle to make food like soup?Or some veg. Meal. As vegetarian meal is difficult to get onboard. And I m pure vegetarian.

In fact I think it may not able to work well due to power problem. There is hot water available. It maybe better if you have some instant food type with you.
