In the early time, agriculture was valued most than business. The court released slaves to ensure there was enough labor force in the fields. On the other hand, with ample labors, the handicraft industry also developed rapidly. In the later time, the court encouraged overseas trades. Many fine products were even sold abroad, bringing great profits to the nation.
