About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I visit Zhangjiagang on this 144 hour visa ?

Hi
I will be flying in to Shanghai Pudong and then onwards to New Zealand - can I leave Shanghai city to go to Zhangjaigang (in Jiangsu Province) for one day in this 144 hour free transit ?
