Do the wife need to change her last name as husbands last name before applying for S1/ S2 type? ?

Hello, my sisters husband is working in PRC and shd wanted to apply for visitors visa. Her passport and other documents still have her maiden name . Does it matter in applying for S1/S2 type? Does she have to change her last name to her husbands name and then apply??

Amber, there is no need to change the name. When she applies for the S1 or S2 type, as long as she can provide the marriage certificate to provide their relationship, it is okay.
