About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am from Philippines but having a spouse visa of a UK citizen

and planning to transit to shanghai from the UK then from shanghai will go to the philippines and back to UK having the same route. Do I need an entry permit or does a spouse of a UK citizen can avail the 72 hours free transit to shanghai???

Rio, owing to your nationality, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit. But if your transit time in Shanghai is less than 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit and in this way, no entry permit is needed either. However, if it’s more than 24 hours, you should apply for a transit G type or tourist L type in advance.
