tickets to simataigubei watertown

Question

I have booked a room in one of the hotels in Gubei watertown. May I know if I still need to purchase an entrance ticket to get into the hotel?Will there be any issue with me getting into Gubei watertown after 5pm - I'll be going there direct from the airport when I land in Beijing.If I wish to book a night visit to Simatai - where can I make a reservation? The Town website doesn't seem to have a section for night tours.

Hi, there is no night tour to Simatai. The Great Wall will be closed at 6:00pm. I have no idea if you need to buy the watertown ticket. Why don't you contact your hotel directly?

Thanks, Kim. Alas, there are no contact details for the hotel in the English and Chinese language pages on the web.But I did find out from one post on one of the Chinese language websites that I will not need to pay to get into the watertown if I have a reservation in the hotel. Cheers
