About:Year of the Tiger

Hi my birthday 16 01 87. i am a little confused because its saying on this site that im a tiger.

Although everything ive ever read in regards to chinese zodiac preiously says that i am a rabbit. please explain

Rach, you are a tiger. The animal sign is based on Chinese lunar calendar. Your date of birth is actually the 17th day of the 12th lunar month of the year of tiger.
