About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a Visa to Shanghai or not?

I have a Phillipine passport and will be traveling to Shanghai on 08/22/16. Do I qualify for the 144 hour free visit or do I have to apply for a Chinese entry permit? I will only be staying 5 days. Thanks

Nina, you don’t qualify for the 144 hour free transit because of your nationality. And because you will stay three for 5 days, you need to apply for a tourist L type.
