Question

Im planning to go to china to do market research for my future planning to setup a company in PRC. Im thinking of going there for 6mths or more. So theorically, i do not have an invitation from any companies. Is it possible to obtain M type??? Where can i do the application in PRC?

Ah, if you cannot get an invitation letter, I’m afraid you cannot apply for the M type. considering your situation, you can apply for a tourist L type to enter PRC for the market research. You can try to apply for a multiple-entry tourist L type for 6 months. And you should apply for it from the CVASC in Singapore.
