About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Apply twice?

Hey, I'm arriving 13th of july 7am and leaving 18th of july. So I'm planning to get the 144h permit.
But the on my way back from Bangkok to Frankfurt I have a layover of 17h... I can just use the 24h one? And can I leave the airport with that one?

When you go to Bangkok from Frankfurt, you can apply for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
And when you return, the 24 hour direct transit is available for your situation. You can apply for a free temporary stay permit at the airport and then you can leave the airport.
