About:China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

Q visa?

Hi everyone!
I'm in China on Z type and I have one-year residency permit. I'm a teacher at a university. Next year I'm gonna come to PRC with my wife. The university staff told me that they can provide my wife with Q type! Can they?!
If not, what type is used for spouse of foreigners who work in PRC?

Mojtaba, your wife cannot apply for the Q type. She should apply for an S1 type which is issued to those who intend to visit their family members who work in PRC.

Dear Margaret,
Thank you for your quick response.
They suggested Q type, which doesn't apply to my situation. I checked it, and it's S1 as you said. I'll ask them on Monday.
