Joining Cruise Ship

Hi, I am joining a cruise ship in China, I will be on the cruise ship as an entertainer for 4 days, then disembark and fly back to Australia. Should I apply for a tourist visa or a transit one.

Thanks

Ringo, you may need to apply for a work Z type or business M type for the 4-day performance on the cruise ship.
