About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

What to do? I am UK citizen with Chinese wife

my wife is now living permanently in China caring for elderly and infirm parents. I live part year with her in China (Q2 visa valid for 2 year multiple entries, up to 120 days each visit) and part year in UK. I am 67 years old, have no teaching qualifications, but have been offered work as a 'conversational English consultant' at a local school. I am a self-funded retiree and have no need of a salary, and would only be available to assist the school on an occasional basis. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time

Richard, when your current Q2 type expires, you can apply for a Q1 type which may allow you to stay in PRC for more than 180 days. And you can also get a temporary residence permit in PRC, which will be more convenient.
