About:China Family Reunion Visa

should we apply for an L or Q2 visa?

Hi,
My wife and I plan to take our son to go sightseeing and visit my in-laws in China. Both my son and I hold a US passport. We intend to stay in PRC for about 8 weeks. Should we apply for L or Q2 type? Thank you!

Alex
