toronto to shanghai to qingdao to incheon

Question

I have to wait in Shanghai for 3 hours and 20 hours in Qingdao. So if I can't use the 72 or 114 hour policy, do I have to stay within the airport during all those times?

If your total time in China is not longer as 24h, you can use the free transit.You can asked for a temporary entry permit to leave the airports.But if you stay longer as 24h, you need to apply for a transit G type or tourist L type before.
