About:China Visa Application Requirements

What kind of visa suitable

Hi. My wife was born in PRC, and now has Taiwanese ID. She wants to take our son who is 18 months old and has British ID to PRC to meet his Aunt, Uncle and cousins. The visit will last 30 days
Does this count as a family reunion? (type Q). I ask because I cannot see aunts, uncles and cousins listed in the family members.
Thank you

Ian, will your son visit Taiwan or mainland? If Taiwan, I don't think the entry permit is required if he has a UK passport. If mainland, he doesn't have to apply for the Q type because the visit will only last 30 days. A tourist L type will be enough.
