About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Visa for nigerian

Hi i am Tira, I'm Indonesian and my husband is Nigerian . We both stay in Malaysia for study. We will like to visit hongkong for holiday soon. How can I get the entry permit for my husband? And for Indonesian do I need to apply entry permit too? Hope to hear from you soon

Tira, the first thing is to prepare the required materials including copy of his passport, the filled-out application form with a passport-style photo glued, proof of financial support, transportation and accommodation arrangement, residence permit in Malaysia and travel itinerary. Afterwards, submit the application to the embassy of PRC to apply for the tourist entry permit.
Or post the application to HK immigration department to apply for it and in this way, the residence permit is not needed.

Indonesian passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of no more than 30 days. So you don’t need to apply for it.

Thank you so much for the answer. It really help us. Please another thing, we don't need any sponsor for tourist entry permit right? May I know what's the difference if I apply trough the embassy in Malaysia and Pos it to Immigration HK? Which one is more easier ? Thank you

Tira, the sponsor is not necessary, so don’t worry!
If you submit the application to the embassy of PRC in Malaysia, and the embassy doesn’t deal with it by itself, your application will be transferred to HK immigration department and you need to pay the commission fee for transferring. So if I were you, I will post it to HK immigration department direct.
