how to cancel the work permit ?

How to cancel the Work permit ? If I will return to my country without resignation can my employer cancel it ? is it mandatory to be present myself here in china for cancelation ? or my employer can do it ?

The company can cancel your Alien Employment Permit (or Foreign Expert Certificate) through internet from a special official system. As for your residence permit for work (work visa stuck on your passport), the company can do nothing if you don't surrender your passport.
