beijing to chengdetianjin to chengde?

I'll be visiting Tianjin before proceed to Chengde.Should I return to BJ from Tianjin and take a bus to Chengde or take train / bus straight from Tianjin to Chengde?Appreciate your advise.Xiexie.

You needn't go back to BJ. You can take a train to Chengde from Tianjin Railway Station. The trains depart at 13:25 and 13:56, and the trip takes about 6 to 6.5 hours. Or, you can take a bus to Chengde from Tongsha Bus Station. The buses depart at 7:30, 8:00, and 15:00, and the fare is CNY 120 or 137 per person. The trip takes about 7 hours. You can choose the way you like.
