About:Entry Regulations of China

Autism and Medicine

Two questions: One, my son has autism and we would like to visit. I have tried repeatedly asking the Chinese Embassy via e-mail if my son has what is considered a serious mental disorder. They answer anything but that question. The other question is, I have very high blood pressure and require medicine. Would I be allowed to bring it with me?

Oh, autism should not belong to this category. So, there won't be a problem in visa-application or passing the customs.

Generally, it is allowed to take self-use amount of high blood pressure medicine. But you'd better take doctor's recipe along with you just in case of the check at the customs.
