About:Exit Regulations of China

I will be travelling back to England soon and need to know the limit for carrying GBP on my person?

As I know, you don’t need to make a declaration if you take less than (including) GBP3,450 to enter CN.
If the value exceeds GBP3,450 but is within (including) GBP6,900, you need to apply for a permit for carrying large amount of currency before you leave England and make a declaration at the customs.
Or, you are not allowed to pass the customs.

I will be travelling to England from China not the other way around. Will it still be the same amount of money
