About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

costs for single entry visas by mail for australians when multiple people are travelling.

My wife, son and I are travelling on a cruise to Beijing. We therefore require single entry.
I have read the web site for the procedure to obtain these but am a little confused as to the cost. The cost is $60.
There is also a reference to postal cost of $71.50. This being listed in the same area as the expedited processing.
My question is
"since I pay the cost to the embassy and include the express prepaid envelope back does this charge apply to a normally issued entry permit, not expedited through the system. If it does apply is it $71.50 per entry permit as the three will be applied for together or is it one payment of $71.50?"

Peter, as far as I know, the final payment should be the visa fee plus the application service fee. The former is AUD 60 per person and the latter is AUD 71.5 per person. So the total fee should be 131.5 per person if you apply by post. And there is no rush service if you apply by post.
