About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Please HELP. 24hours exemption

Next week I will have a flight from Ukrain-Beijing-Yantai- Seoul (South Korea). I have a Dutch passport (The Netherlands) and have no problems in Ukrain and South Korea. Do I need a Chinese visa? It's whitin the 24hours everything.
My chinese embassy in The netherlands doesn't know and says because it's two stops, I need one. They said there have been cases of people being send back to the country. Please help me, I hear different stories. I'm reading everywhere that the 24hours exemption is valid for MULTIPLE stops in China. And Can I walk in Yantai or do I need to stay inside the airport?

If your transit is not longer as 24h you can have multi stops in China.
If you wanna leave the airport in Yantai, you can ask for a temporary permit.

OMG Thank you! I really was affriad of being send back (I'm leaving in 5 days). The embassy said people were send back at the airport of Guangzou that also had two stops, but of course I don't know their situation maybe they had more than 24hours. Do you pay for a temporary permit? Can I get it at the airport there and do you know if it's hard to get?

Hi there! The temporary stay permit is free of charge. You can get it at the airport immigration inspection office. When you get off the plane, there are direction boards by which you can find that place. It’s easy to get.
