Working visa China with no formal school or university qualifications

I work at a very high level in global communications and have had a most successful career however I have informal and not formal training in my particular field. I did not graduate school and was chosen to enter an informal training scheme instead and then moved on through ranks to be internationally successful. I wonder if I would be asked to submit formal school or university qualifications? I have instead exceptional references from most highly placed people.

In most cases, you need to provide your education certificate. You can just provide the relevant qualifications from the informal training scheme. And the exceptional references from most highly placed people may help a lot, too.
