chinese tourist visa requirement

i want to apply for a tourist L type for 1 week, to shezhen. i alrady paid my hotel resevation and my ticket.do i need an invitation letter as it's my first time?

No, if you have the round trip air tickets and hotel booking record, the invitation letter is not necessary even though it’s the first time you apply for it.
