Hi,I have a D train from Shanghai Hongqiao. Do you have any suggestions where the Wuyishan station actually is and it's distance to the Scenic area? Bus/Taxi? ThanksTom

East Railway Station is located at Yangdun Village, Jiangkou Town, Jianyang District, Nanping. The distance is about 24 miles (38km). You can take bus line k1 to the mountain. If by taxi, the fare may be around CNY 150. For accommodation, most hotels near East Railway Station don't accept foreigners. So, you are advised to stay at the foot of the mountain. The Tianyou Villa near the entrance is a nice choice. It costs CNY 220-340 per night. You can book a room by dialing at 86-0599-5258699. BTW, Wuyishan north station is much closer to the scenic area. why don't you get off there? From the station, there are duirect buses to the scenic area. You can stay overnight just outside the entrance and start your visit the next day.
