How do I get to Shenzhen from Yangshuo?

I will be travelling from Shenzhen to Guilin and staying for a few days before getting the cruise to Yangshuo. Is there a way to get to Shenzhen directly from there? And failing that, does anyone know how often the buses go back to GL and how long they take?

You can take a direct bus to Shenzhen from Yangshuo South Bus Station. The buses depart at 12:30 and 20:00, and the fare is CNY180. The trip takes about 8 hours.

Or, you can take a bus to GL North Railway Station. The buses are scheduled at 8:00, 10:00, 11:30, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, and 17:30. The trip takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, you can take a bullet train to Shenzhen (about 3 hours). :)
