About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Do we have to apply in person?

I am a U.S. citizen living and working in Daejeon. I plan to visit China with a friend for summer break but getting time off to go to Seoul and apply for my visa is nearly impossible with the office hours they have. Can we just mail our application, passport and fee to the embassy?

Hi Virginia, you can mail your application, passport and other required documents to the CVASC in Seoul. As for the fee, you should not include cash in the envelope. You can make the payment through remittance. The office staff will inform you of the amount of payment when your passport is ready for return. You can remit the payment to the center, and indicate your passport number and pickup form in the remittance information column.

Here is the information of this Center:
Benificary's name: CITS V SERVICE CO.,Ltd
Bank name: ORI BANK SEOUL SQUARE FINACIAL CENTER
Account No: 1005-581-886607

And then put the address for the embassy in Seoul?
