About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Working in China, how long can I stay

I will be going to work in China next year, when I get the visa, what is maximum stay? Is it 6 months or 12 months?

Angel ,if you can get a Z type work visa, you need to apply for a temporary residence permit after you enter. And the validity of the residence permit, determined by the term of you work contract, in turn determines how long you can stay there. Generally speaking, if your work contract is valid for one year or more, the residence permit should be valid for one year. And you can renew it before its expiry date. So you can stay in PRC for at least one year in normal cases.
