About:Gegentala Grassland

Hi, has anyone been to gegentala grass land from Hohhot using the local buses?

If so, which number bus is it, price and time taken?
Any other information about seeing the sights in Inner Mongolia independantly via public transport?

I am sorry that there is no direct bus service. You may take a bus to Ulan Hua (Wulanhua).The bus has no number. I remember that the buses are available from 5:30 to 17:00, and the trip takes about 2 hours. The fare is around CNY 30. Then, charer a car to the grassland for about CNY 100.

You can go to see Populus Euphratica Forest in Ejina Banner. As I know, you can take a tourist train to Ejina Banner from Hohhot. The trains are avaialble from September 25th to October 16th during the Populus Euphratica Forest Festival. :)
