About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Hk passport holder applying tourist visa

Hi there

i am a hk sar passport holder and i am traveling to china in sept. Because my home return permit has expired, i would need to apply for a tourist entry permit. with that said, would i need to apply for the tourist entry permit directly with the chinese embassy here in sydney and how soon can i apply ?

Dear, you don’t need to apply for a tourist entry permit and you can apply for China travel document to enter mainland PRC. You can apply for it at the consulate general of PRC in Sydney if the area you live in belongs to its consular district.
After you submit the application, it usually takes 4 working days to process it.

thank you. That's what i gathered as well. They told me to complete the "renew chinese passport" form as an application. but i cant find it on the Chinese embassy website?
