visa issue to transit pudong airport within 24 hours for thai citizen

Hi, I'm a citizen of Thailand flying from Thailand to USA by transiting at PuDong Airport (PVG) for up to 6 hours. Do I need a Chinese entry permit?Please help explain, thank you....
