Ajoshi, do you mean to get the teporary residence permit of China for your parents? If yes, you parents should first apply for an S1 type entry permit at the CVASC office in India. After they enter PRC with the S1 type, you should apply for a temporary residence permit at the local exit and entry administration. I don't think you should apply for it from the Indian consulate.

The evidence of relationship is usually your birth certificate. Since your parents' names are not on it, it cannot be used. Your parents can go to the relevant organization in India to get this certificate and have it notarized and authenticated by PRC embassy before taking it to PRC.
