Transportation between Lijiang and the Glacier Park cable car?

What is the easiest and quickest way to get to the peak of the snow mountain, I.e. The location where you take the cable car that takes you up to the 4600 meter peak, from LJ old town?

I've planned to leave early morning 07.00-07.30 am, and to be there when they opens the gates and before most of the scheduled tour busses. Will a bus, taxi or any other transportation option be preferable and what will be the cost and time to get there?
