About:China Tourist Visa

can I stay in PRC for about 50 days with a single-entry Chinese visa

I am an Australian travelling on an Australian passport on a partly organised and partly independant tour of PRC. Can I get a single entry permit that enables me to remain in PRC for approximate 50 days

Dianne, usually, you may be given a 30-day single-entry tourist L type which allows you to saty for 30 days in PRC, but you can apply for an extension 7 days earlier before it expires to get another 30 days. In this case, you can stay for about 50 days in PRC.
