Mongolia to Beijing - Transit Visa?

I will be travelling from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing via train in order to catch a flight out of the country. I will only be staying 48 hours in China as I will be flying directly out of Beijing. Am I able to do this on a transit visa?

Jamie, you can do this on a transit G type permit, but you need to know that it's different from the free transit permit. You should apply for the G type in advance. Your inward and outward tickets will be required during the application.
