About:Beijing Capital International Airport

We have been quoted CNY 300 from the Beijing airport to Xiao Yuan Alley Hotel.

Is this a reasonable price or is it expensive?

Generally speaking, the fare may be CNY 90-100 in the day time. So you have been quoted too much. You need to find the official taxi in this city. And ask the driver to use meter next time.
