Australian passport holder needing a Chinese visa processed in Christchurch Chinese Consulate

I am a Australian passport holder. Can I get my Chinese visa application processed at the Christchurch Chinese Consulate. I have lived on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand for many years and ask what kind of proof of residency would be required. Will my pension papers be good?

Beverley, the pension paper may work. But if you have the residence permit there, you’d better provide the residence permit and it can be the proof to prove your legal stay there.
