Use of 72 hour transit visa in Beijing

Hello,

I am flying from Germany over Finland to Beijing, to stay in Beijing for 2 days

I then return by flying Beijing to Hong Kong, and then Hong Kong to Germany.

Questions:
1. Is this a valid flight schedule for the free transit scheme?
2. May I use the free transit to perform business related tasks in Beijing, or is it only allowed for tourist purposes?

Thank you for your help
